When weighing a meal on the EasyCarb smart scale, the information is sent to the mobile app via Bluetooth. The app then calculates the correct insulin dosage to inject, based on the scale value. The user can weigh one or more meals at the same time. Additionally, the application contains a huge food database, which stores more than a million food data and its detailed nutritional values. The integration of the database eliminates the need to enter nutritional values for most standard meals manually.

The daily overview

The overview screen is an informative aspect of the app, showing the user’s glucose levels, meal information and a reminder to keep glucose levels in check.

Analytics and beyond

Obtained insulin, glucose and meal data are graphically presented in the reports. These reports can be downloaded and delivered to the patient's doctor.
